Polygon T7E full suspension bikes with Shimano EP801 and 630Wh battery now available for guided rides and rentals
To book you need to email us – with the ride you want to do, technical grade (please look at FAQ page for explanation), dates you have available (Monday to Friday only) and number of riders.
The meeting point for the rides is our shop in Praia da Luz.
For the Monduro ride we can pick up in Lagos or meet at Portimao racetrack if you are coming from the East Algarve.

Monduro
We meet at 08:45 to load up the 4×4 and trailer and head out to the start, which is near the Portimao car racing circuit. We ride up the south side of Foia Mountain on dirt tracks and roads until we get to the network of enduro trails. These are spread out across the south west corner of the mountain. These are hand crafted enduro trails that are designed to be as fun as possible while also being a test of your biking skill. They are not manicured trail centre, there are lots of rocks, boulders, jumps, berms and really rough sections.
We aim to get in 1200m climbing in a 40km loop. The last descent back to the 4×4 is a fun, very long descent that is a great way to finish the ride off.
You will be on a Polygon Siskiu T7E full suspension emtb with a 630Wh battery. We do not carry spare batteries or chargers for the ride. The battery has more than enough range for this ride, however your battery management is up to you!
The route is a result of 20 years of digging and loving the place where we ride, if you have the skills and stamina for this ride, it is the best of everything we do.
Travel by Gravel
We meet at our shop in Praia da Luz at 09:20. The Algarve is a dream location for gravel bikes, our tours are all about the adventure. Gravel bikes are everything we love about riding bikes, they are simple, honest machines that can go on any surface, it is this type of riding that made us fall in love with riding 40 years ago! You will get to see so much more of this stunning location on these bikes and they will challenge your skill is a whole new way. If you already have the bug then you know, if you haven’t been gravel riding yet, come try it with us.
Trail ride
We meet at our shop in Praia da Luz at 09:20 for the four hour and 2.5 hour rides, we can also run an afternoon 2.5 hour ride meeting at 14:15
We have a range of trail rides to suit both novices and experts in either 2.5 hours (up to 25km) or 4 hours (up to 45km).
Our most popular route starts from our base in Praia da Luz. We head out along the stunning South Coast following lots of hidden single tracks we have built between the villages along the cliffs. As the coastline is much cooler in the summer and because we have been able to build and link so much single track on the South Coast, this route has the most technical options to ride.
We also ride inland, We ride a mix of dirt roads and single tracks that link up various inland villages. we ride through the forest using hidden trails before heading back to the coast and our shop.
Scenic
We meet at our shop in Praia da Luz at 09:20 for the rides, we can also run an afternoon ride meeting at 14:15
We have two options for the scenic rides
The family cliff tour – This ride is an easy scenic ride with the minimum amount of climbing possible. We leave from our shop on quiet paved roads that lead to an easy climb to the highest point on the ride, we follow dirt roads to a pretty beach town called Burgau then head back along the stunning cliffs. This route is about 12km long.
The cliff top tour – This is very popular ride taking in some of the most spectacular views around Lagos from the top of the cliffs. We ride from our shop to see the famous cliff formations then ride to the highest point locally which over looks Praia da Luz where you can see all the way to Sagres. We stop at a cafe on a beach before returning along the cliffs to Praia da Luz. This a 2.5 ride around 20km long
